about

THE NEW ALBUM DROPS ON 5/27/20 AT 7PM, RIGHT HERE!!!

The University of Southern Maine Composers Ensemble has been giving exciting concerts of new music for nearly eight years. The ensemble consists of undergraduate and graduate performers, and performer-composers, and writes an entire evening's worth of music each semester. In the Fall 2012 semester, the ensemble swelled to 30 people - a chamber orchestra with choir. For the first time, we decided to commit these fine pieces, and this fine ensemble, to posterity via recording sessions held after the end-of-semester concert. Given the strength of the results, this will likely become a tradition, and you the listener may look forward to subsequent E.P.s in the years to come!
